PRISM
In the IES Valle del Cidacos the Educational Innovation Project “PRISMA, Views from diversity ". Its purpose is to promote a citizenry capable of living together and enjoying plurality, as well as offering healthy and constructive proposals for leisure time. This project will be developed mainly in recess time with our first cycle secondary school students.
Specific objectives:
- Offer a different leisure alternative with an educational background.
- Promote healthy habits. Increased physical activity and careful diet.
- Work education in values (honesty, Justice, respect)
- Promote a good coexistence. Generate strategies for the peaceful and dialogue resolution of problems (mediation).
- Teach to positively value diversity among people.
- Promote the care of the environment that surrounds us (clean space, promote responsible consumption, correct classification of waste ...)
- Know, analyze and promote 17 ODS.
What do we do to achieve these goals?
During recess we energize the playground through activities of different types:
- Logic
- Aim
- Games that involve physical activity
- Workshops, Crafts.
Of course, we also analyze and reflect on the meaning of the commemorative days of our calendar (17 October, poverty eradication day, 25 November "day for the elimination of violence against women", among others yet to commemorate). The purpose of these days is clear: facilitate reflection, the peaceful dialogue and exchange of ideas among the students of the center on various topics so that they can critically analyze their environment and offer real and achievable solutions.
