The Educational Innovation Project is being carried out at Valle del Cidacos IES, LEAD ON: Building the Reading Plan, whose purpose is the elaboration or promotion of the Center's Reading Plans.

Why a Reading Plan?

A Reading Plan is a tool at the service of teachers in their work of working on reading in educational centers.; i.e., in making students acquire, develop and consolidate their reading competence as well as a taste for reading. There is no single, standard reading plan.

Each center, each group, each student, It has different characteristics, and the teacher must decide which titles and which activities are most appropriate in each case.. In this way, We understand that a reading plan must offer a varied and attractive offer..

JUSTIFICATION AND OBJECTIVES

Reading constitutes one of the solid foundations of a society that prides itself on criticism, solidarity, tolerant and egalitarian. This Reading Plan has a broad expectation of reaching not only our students, but the entire educational community is included in it.

Among the objectives of this plan are as a foundation:

a.) Improve students' reading skills.

b) Promote the taste and habit of reading.

c) Read to learn and understand.

d) Improve the level of reading comprehension.

e) Use reading as a source of information and entertainment.

f) Promote the operation of the Library as a nerve center for reading and loans.

g) Develop imagination and fantasy.

h) Practice reading aloud and silently.

i) Develop active listening.
