General competence:

General competition of this title is to assemble and maintain machinery and industrial equipment and automated lines of production in accordance with the regulations and standards, following the quality protocols, Security and prevention of occupational hazards and environmental respect

Professional competencies

This professional will be able to:

  • Obtain the necessary data from the technical documentation to carry out the operations associated with the assembly and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Gather the resources and means necessary to undertake the execution of the assembly or maintenance of the facilities.
  • Propose modifications to the facilities in accordance with the technical documentation to guarantee the viability of the assembly, solving the problems of its competition and reporting other contingencies.
  • Assemble the mechanical systems, hydraulic, tires and other auxiliary elements associated with electromechanical installations.
  • Assemble electrical and regulatory and control systems associated with electromechanical installations, in conditions of quality and safety.
  • Manufacture and / or join mechanical components for the maintenance and assembly of electromechanical installations.
  • Perform tests and verifications, both functional and regulatory, of the facilities to check and adjust their operation.
  • Diagnose the dysfunctions of the equipment and elements of the facilities, using the appropriate means and applying established procedures with the required security.
  • Repair, Maintain and replace equipment and items on the premises to ensure or restore operating conditions.
  • Start the installation, carrying out the safety and operation tests of the machines, automation and safety devices, after assembly or maintenance of an installation.

The general competence of this title is to configure and optimize industrial mechatronic systems, as well as planning, monitor or run its setup and maintenance, following the quality protocols, Security and prevention of occupational hazards and environmental respect.

Competition drives:

This professional will be able:

  • Set up industrial mechatronic systems, selecting the equipment and elements that compose them.
  • Planning the assembly and maintenance of industrial mechatronic systems: machinery, industrial equipment and automated production lines, among others, defining resources, the necessary times and control systems.
  • Supervise and / or execute the assembly and maintenance processes of industrial mechatronic systems, controlling the times and the quality of the results.
  • Monitor the operating parameters of industrial mechatronic systems, using measurement and control instruments and specific purpose computer applications.
  • Diagnosing and locating faults and malfunctions that occur in industrial mechatronic systems, applying specific operating techniques and procedures, to organize your repair.
  • Establish the minimum spare parts levels for machinery maintenance, industrial equipment and automated production lines.
  • Set up the equipment, after repair or assembly of the installation, performing safety and performance tests, the necessary modifications and adjustments, from the technical documentation, ensuring the reliability and energy efficiency of the system.
  • Program automatic systems, checking the operating parameters and the safety of the installation, following the procedures established in each case.
  • Supervise or execute the commissioning of the facilities, adjusting the parameters and performing the necessary tests and verifications, both functional and regulatory.
  • Prepare technical and administrative documentation to comply with current regulations, with the assembly processes and with the facilities maintenance plan.
