The past 22 and 23 November students of 2nd year of IES Valle del Cidacos traveled, as is tradition, Leon. On the way back we turn to Herrera de Pisuerga and took the opportunity to make a boat trip on the Canal de Castilla, representative work of enlightened eighteenth century Spain
Leon and we visited the Royal Pantheon and the Museum of San Isidoro, the Gothic Cathedral and, the evening, enjoy a walk in the Humid Quarter and enjoy exquisite tapas.
The next morning we visited the University of León. The rector of the university welcomed us and accompanied the students of Sciences, who visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biology. Meanwhile, students of arts and letters with their teacher visited the Faculty of Arts where we received the coordinator of the Degree in Art History. And a third group could meet the Faculty of Engineering, where they could try out a flight simulator and observe the operation of 3D printers by adding.
On the way back we visited the Villa Romana de La Olmeda, near Saldaña. The Roman Empire, It is the best preserved village in Spanish soil and conserves 1500 m2 of beautiful mosaics.
