COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM WITH THE EOI

Program of collaboration between centers and institutes of secondary education with EOI for the obtaining of the certificate corresponding to the basic and intermediate levels of the teaching of languages of special regime

1.1.- Features.

The cooperation programme aims to facilitate that those secondary school students who wish to, and they are selected by the Center, they can achieve the objectives of the English language in secondary education and, at the same time, be prepared to make it possible for them to obtain the official certificate in foreign language, Basic and intermediate levels of English of the schools official of languages of the autonomous community of La Rioja.
The collaboration program presupposes that, Although the teachings of secondary education and the official schools of languages languages have features that are specific to each one of them, There are also objectives and communicative skills that are common to both.

1.2.- Adaptation of levels.

The communicative and linguistic skills corresponding to the basic levels (A2) e intermediate (B1) of the teaching of languages of special regime will consider, as a general rule, simultaneously with the teachings of general scheme according to the following scheme:

Teaching of official teaching languages schools of general scheme
1st leaarning basic 3rd level course. (A1)
Course 2nd leaarning basic 4th level. (A2)
1st intermediate 1º of Bachillerato course (B1)
Course 2nd Bachelor 2nd intermediate level (B1)

Students will receive their own classroom teachings relevant to specific programming to the English Department of the Center, in collaboration with the corresponding official school of languages, set for students welcomed the collaboration program. This programming shall include for each course:

– The objectives and levels, as well as their moral and civic education.
– The communicative language competences, primarily oral skills.
– The guidance on methodology and didactic materials.
– The procedures and guidelines for the evaluation and promotion.

Languages

The collaboration object language is English will be fitted in this educational offer when it appears as a first foreign language in the teachings of secondary education.

Requirements for participation

1.- Participation in this program will be voluntary and will be carried out in those institutes and private centres which are duly authorized. The Center may establish selection criteria for your students to access it.

2.- Shall not participate in the partnership program students who have registered at official regime, face-to-face or remote mode, in the official school of languages.

Regime of testing and registration

1.- Applicants must register as free in the appropriate official language school students.

2.- The period for registration is set each school year around March and is performed both inclusive, in the Secretariat of the school language corresponding where will be testing certification, in the schedule that is established for each of the schools.
Prior to these dates, students will receive appropriate information through its Center, both on the characteristics of this educational offer and registration requirements.

3.- At the end of the course, the 3 students of compulsory secondary education and 1 year of high school will be a test at its centre that will have the same structure of the corresponding level certification test and whose content will be tailored to specific programming requirements that refer to paragraph 1.2 item 1 This resolution.
The test will be organized into four distinct parts and will be led to develop competencies in the four communication skills: reading comprehension, written expression, listening comprehension and oral expression.
