VALLEDEPORTE
With the project "Valledeporte" This Center tries to promote the sport among students. This began the course 2013/14 with handball and table tennis. Responsible for the same monitor is Diego Serra Fortío and during the course 2014/15 they are participating ones 60 students:
- 36 In handball, forming 3 equipment:
- Female Cadete-juvenil.
- Child mixed.
- Male juvenile.
- 24 in table tennis.
They train Monday to Friday from 16 a. 18 hours in the Europe Pavilion and participate on weekends in sports games of La Rioja, which organizes the counseling.
In addition, last year they went to Logroño to witness official matches of first national handball, both the Naturhouse La Rioja male and female Sporting Rioja.
In table tennis, last May the Rioja selection went to the Championship of Spain which was held in San Javier (Murcia). This competition was attended by more than 150 There were participants from all the autonomous communities and in the selection of our community representation of the IES. The Cidacos Valley. The Rioja selection managed to improve the results of the previous year in all categories, something very remarkable given the high level of competition.
