PREPARATORY COURSES FOR THE ACCESS TEST TO MIDDLE AND HIGHER GRADE TRAINING CYCLES

Objective:

The aim of these courses is prepare the entrance examination to intermediate and higher level training cycles. To access the training cycles always it will be necessary to overcome the access test.

The student who has passed the preparation course in the access test to intermediate or higher level in the authorized educational centers in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, to access a medium or higher level training cycle (as appropriate), must register for the access test called for this purpose in the aforementioned Autonomous Community.

In this case, You may request the total or partial exemption from the test, It will provide the certificate of passing the course. The certificate of passing the access test will be assigned the same grade as that obtained in the preparation course for the access tests to intermediate or higher level training cycles..

ORGANIZATION OF THE PREPARATORY COURSE FOR MIDDLE GRADE TRAINING CYCLES FOR THE COURSE 2024-2025

The course will start on the day 9 September of 2024 and will end one week before the middle grade entrance exams begin.

It will have a maximum duration of 400 hours, that will be developed throughout a single school year at a rate of 13 hours per week.

The training is in person, being necessary a 85% assistance to maintain rights to continuous evaluation. If during the first 30 teaching days of the course there is an absence greater than 50%, The student will be officially discharged and his/her place will be assigned, in your case, to the next on the waiting list.

Are the subjects to study:

1. Communication scope:
   • Spanish language and literature: 3 hours/week.
   • English language: 2 hours/week.
2. Social Scope:
   • Geography and history: 3 hours/week.
3. Scientific-Technological Area:
   • Math: 3 hours/week.
   • Biology and geology: 1/hour week.
   • Information and communication technology: 1 hour/week.

ORGANIZATION OF THE PREPARATORY COURSE FOR HIGHER DEGREE TRAINING CYCLES FOR THE COURSE 2024-2025

The course will start on the day 9 September of 2024 and will end one week before the middle grade entrance exams begin.

It will have a maximum duration of 600 hours, that will be developed throughout a single school year at a rate of 20 hours per week.

The training is in person, being necessary a 85% assistance to maintain rights to continuous evaluation. If during the first 30 teaching days of the course there is an absence greater than 50%, The student will be officially discharged and his/her place will be assigned, in your case, to the next on the waiting list.

Are the subjects to study:

1. Common subjects:
   • Option A.
     • History of Spain: 4 hours/week.
     • Spanish language and literature: 4 hours/week.
     • English language: 4 hours/week.
   • Option B.
     • Math: 4 hours/week.
     • Spanish language and literature: 4 hours/week.
     • English language: 4 hours/week.
2. Specific subjects:
   • Option A.
     • Biology: 4 hours/week.
     • Information and communication technology: 4 hours/week.
   • Option B.
     • Business Economics: 4 hours/week.
     • Information and communication technology: 4 hours/week.

Students must enroll in 3 common subjects and 2 specific subjects. At the time of registration you must indicate the options you have chosen..
