Research Baccalaureate

In the course 2017-2018 the Research Baccalaureate was implemented for the first time at the IES Valle del Cidacos, so that the students of our center could carry out an academic research project, during the two courses of the stage.

This project works around two lines of action: on the one hand, in improving the acquisition of communication skills of students (both in Spanish and English) and, for another, in training students in the use of research methods and documentation, with formulas close to those used in the university environment.

In the Research Baccalaureate we work to develop a scientific mentality in students, rigorous, orderly and critical, while strengthening his entrepreneurial and creative spirit, teamwork and self-confidence.

To this end, they are provided with specific training on research, by the hand of a teacher who tutors their work and, through collaboration with surrounding entities.

Finally, this Research Baccalaureate, It can be done from any of the baccalaureate modalities offered by the IES Valle del Cidacos.
