For the third consecutive year has launched the School of Excellence in the IES Valle del Cidacos in Calahorra. After several months of speaking classes in Spanish and English and lectures on different topics of general interest, taught by renowned specialists, students have begun to defend their research projects that they have been dealing with for two years.
These works are led by teachers acting as tutors Center of the different disciplines chosen by the students themselves, according to their interest in future college.
The first students to present and defend their research before the evaluating court have been:
- Ana Armas Herradón, He defended his projectWoman, art and sexism: life and work of Camille Claudel
- Sánchez Concha Hierro: Garbo,the spy who deceived Hiltler
- Vizan María Ruiz: Nazi women, ¿Banality of evil or innate cruelty?
In all three cases, the professor who has directed the investigations has been María Jesús Ramón Aragón, member of the Department of Geography and History of the IES Valle del Cidacos.
The exhibits were very interesting, original and fluid; also, They demonstrated the important research and pre culmination of work structuring. They were conducted in Spanish and English as required by the law of this Baccalaureate, with the proviso that, when applying the three students also Linguistic Excellence in English, They had to expand paragraphs in that language.
